BIO

Umege Emeka Emmanuel (Born 15th July) popularly known as MK60(mr fantaastik)
is a multi talented singer/rapper who hails from Imo state Nigeria
He is undoubtedly the fastest growing entertainer out of  Imo state in recent times, having spent just 2years on the scene of plying his trade professionally. With songs like "DOMITILLA" and "APOKA" which is curently recieving well deserved airplays and recognition around eastern Nigeria, "Mr fantaastik" as he is fondly called, has earned himself a strong crusade of fans, supporters and well wishers. MK60 is Curently managed by Lagos Based Artist Manager "MR SEVEN" of "House of finest".

MK60 spent most of his early life in western Nigeria attending schools from lordseren nursery and primary school to Caleb primary and secondary School both situated in Lagos State. Due to the nature of his parent's occupation which often demanded transfers, in the close of 2004, they would relocate to the east where he then completed his secondary education at Logos International Secondary School. Awo-omamma in Imo State.  MK60 is currently a 200l french student in Imo State University.

MK60's style of music has been tagged as a pure/perfect blend of highlife and afropop and besides his looks, the singer's other strong qualities are his creativity and versatility. He takes no hesitation in showin his stuff at every chance he gets at a mic/in the studio.
He first stirred some attention on the scene with cover songs such as Burna boy's LIKE TO PARTY, Sean Tizzles's SHO LEE which at the time set him out as a strong force to be reckoned with in the industry. His debut single Domitilla was followed up by Apoka (Produced by Harida), a song that announced his brand and talent to waiting fans and supporters around eastern Nigeria.
 Almost immediately bagging 3 nominations across the east, and the "NEXT RATED AFROPOP" award in the 2014 edition of the E CelebrityAWARDS in eastern Nigeria in the same year, his fans anticipate the release of the visuals to apoka which promises to be at equal standard.

MK60 started writing music in 2006 at class jss2. Positive response from peers and classmates excited his passion to continue. He coined the stage name "mk60" which means "emeka of the future" out of his birth name "EMEKA" and his love for futuristic fantasies which prompted the addition of "60" to his name to signify the future. He went on to lead a now defunct group "dx12". In 2010, after secondary school, MK60 went on to win a rap competition which landed him unlimited studio time. The then rapper switched to singing during this period. with influences from afrobeat legend FELA to dbanj,  chris brown, wizkid and psquare, MK60 shaped his art to become unique and lovable.


MK60 has eased the anticipation to his APOKA video with a viral video to a cover song to Davido's OWO NI KOKO
